The Gambia National U-20 Team is expected in Banjul on Wednesday 6th April, 2016 after their first leg over counterparts in Sierra Leone played over the weekend at the Wussum stadium in Makeni.
The Gambia bet Sierra Leone 2 nil in the first leg with goals from Bun Sanneh and Abdoulie Jallow. Although the visitors earlier on hit the post through Omar Jobe.
Having beat Sierra Leone, the Young Scorpions will now return to Banjul on Wednesday 6th April to continue their technical preparation for the return leg slated for Saturday 23rd April in Banjul.
The Gambia will square off Morocco in the next phase of the qualifiers after what looks like a job well done against Sierra Leone. Morocco already have a bye and now awaits the winner between the Gambia and Sierra Leone schedule for May.
